Venue Feature: August Hall

About nine years ago, when I had just launched the photo biz, I answered a Craigslist ad for an event decor photographer with Live Nation Special Events. As the saying goes, the rest is history, but truly the Live Nation team has been an incredible partner for the better part of a decade, and as we’ve grown, so have they!

In 2018, Live Nation launched a stunning “new” venue, August Hall, fully restored to its original Victorian era glory. Air quotes around new because, according to their website, August Hall is actually “one of San Francisco’s original masterpieces. The unique space was originally built in the 1890s as a Victorian Playhouse by celebrated architect August Headman, where it later showed films such as “Stage Door” in the 1940s and featured the premiere of Alfred Hitchcock’s film “Vertigo” on May 9, 1958.”

August Hall is a truly special venue and a great spot for events. Here’s just a little taste of the events we’ve photographed so far…

Such a gorgeous space and so full of history! A huge a thank you to the Live Nation team for their partnership and friendship. It’s been a fun ride so far, and we look forward to many more events to come!
